Twins VS Yankees - Game 1

Watching Twins be killed by Yankees. Why did they put Joba Chamberlian in in the 8th? With only 1 out left, they should put in Rivera! Anyways, It's the bottom of the 8th now, and the Yankees are winning 7-2. Ron Mahay pitching for Twins. Now I know enough about the Twins to know their bullpen. Joe Nathan, Jeff Manship, and Matt Gurrier are the only good bullpen members. Mayhay is scaring me by giving up LLLOOOOONNNNNGGGGG fly balls. Okay, Melky Cabrera. 1-1 count, and an 83 mph change mid away. 2-1. Oh, and another change, wiff! 2-2 count. And the pitch - 89 mph high 4 seamer fouled off. Oh! Slider on mid inside corner. Come on, it's right down the middle! 2 outs, everyone is standing. and a slider and a fastball and now it's 2-0. Oooo, down the middle, strike 1. Strike 2 looking. SWING, c'mon. And the pitch - just a bit outside. Oh, and a foul ball. Slider... ball four and now Span is up. 1-0 count, and a base hit up the middle. A bad fastball by Rivera is sent right back where it came from. Ok, orlando cabrera up. Oh, and a steal of second. 1-0 count...2-0 count. And a STRIKE. LOSE TO VIKES! BEAT GOPHERS! TWINS WIN! MINNESOTA FRENZY!!

Let's just say, I like Minnesota. I hate the Gophers and the Vikings (Favre 4 retirement) but I love 3 things - mall of America, picosa havanese, and the TWINS! Let's start with football. Badgers beat gophers. I thought it was over at Brown's fumble, but I was wrong. The Pack lost to the Vikes. The Packers Offensive line stinks. Rodgers can't keep taking 8 sacks a game! The 3rd best QB in the NFL would be even higher with a line that could hold a candle to the worst DL's. Anyways, Favre got credit for Peterson (Expected), he put on a show by throwing those "AMAZING!" one yard TD passes, which the announcers marveled over. Yikes. Anyways, TWINS! I love the White Sox, the Twins, and the Tigers, but in this match up, I wanted Twins. In an awesome game, the Twins won. Anyways, it's bed time, so I must go. Check back for more.
