On Tuesday, August 18Th, a tragedy occured. Brett Favre joined the VIKINGS! For 2 years! This is the worst news in football history and the second in sports, only behind Bonds hitting 756 HR's. THE FAVRE TIMELINE -
1992 - Throws 5 passes for Falcons.
1997 - Wins super bowl.
1998 - Loses super bowl.
2006 - "Won't retire"
2007 - Plays well for packers
2008 - Retires, Unretires, retires, unretires. Joins Jets. Throws more INT's than TD's. Last pass illegal forward.
2009 - Pretty much same as 2008 but joins vikings and will throw no TD's and break the all time INT season record (hopefully).
What will he do next? I'm with my grandparents in Milwaukee, so they're letting me burn the newspaper. Now here is the NFL preview -
NFC NORTH - 1. Packers. Rodgers is amazing 2. Bears Cutler is good, but receivers stink. 3. Vikings. Favre will "fumble" over a terrible season and his arm will fall of. Than he will become friends with Kerry Wood. 4. Lions. GRRRRRRRReat. 2-14 this year!
NFC Champ - Eagles. They will deserve to win if Vick sends a pit bull to tear Favres head off.
AFC Champ - Patriots. They're just plain amazing.
SUPER BOWL CHAMP - Patriots.

Long time no posts - glad you are back. I agree completely. I now hate the Vikes as much as the Bears. It is not the Vike's fault - it is Favre's, so if they play the Bears I'll root for the Bears (I can't believe it). I think a good hard sack in week 1 or 2 would be a nice welcome back. Or on 10-5 when we play them.
Nice post, and I don't know, with that kind of record, the Lions could take this whole thing. And that man is going to be like 109, and at this pace, he'll be playing for the Lions.
