News

Hello few and appreciated blog readers! It's been a while since I've blogged, and that's because I've been at the best and most beautiful place on earth, Camp Interlaken (right and above). Not only is it the most fun place on earth, but you're pretty much guaranteed to see a bald eagle every day. Ok, lot's of sports news.
1. "King" Lebron James has made the cowardly decision to join the star studded heat. Instead of showing that he's truly an amazing player, one of the best ever, leading his hometown team and passionate loving fans to a championship, he took his ego to Miami. Now if he wins a championship, he will be only a super-egoed (is that a word?) helper. Sure he's a hall of famer, but not a respected one (kind of like Ty Cobb, just not as good).
2. Lou Pinella has retired. Well, kind of. The Cub fans still get half a year of "it" left. Seriously, kpeople say he's a HOF manager? A HOFer can make a baseball team look like a baseball team, not a bunch of hopeless souls on dirt and grass. I mean, look at him! -------------->
3. Speaking of bad managers, the Brewers manager, Ken Macha, is still around. Making decisions like sending down the mega prospect on a struggling team who has had only 5 at bat's and already 4 hits.
4. Spain wins the world cup. That means 3 years and 11 months of Americans hating soccer again.
5. I was getting on the bus for my first day of Camp Shalom, and when I was looking for a seat, One seat had a 6 year old, who said with a strong southern accent, "This seats Toyken". Forrest Gump, anyone? Well, that's it. Check back frequently for posts!

Great post. Agree about LeBron. Gave up leading the Cavs to a campionship and proving he was a star to being teh #2 guy in Miami. As they said on the podcase, "He is Pippen to Miami's Jordan - DeWayne Wade."
